This can be one of the most loneliest times of the year. I have struggled with the feeling of being unwanted by men and craving attention from them. I know how it feels like to just want to be seen and known, to just want to hear that I am beautiful – flaws and all. God is tugging at my heart because I can see many of the women and girls around me struggling to see themselves the way God sees them. If you fall into that category this is what God wants you to know:
You are so precious to Me. I wish you could understand how deep and vast my love is for you. I have been planning your life since the beginning of time; knowing the day you would be born, how tall you would be, how many freckles should be placed on your skin. I knew exactly how I would use you to further My Kingdom. How I made you is so unique and different from anyone else, no one can be like you. I want you to live boldly in the way I crafted you in your mothers womb. I am telling you, My precious daughter, there is no flaw in you. Sometimes the world may not understand your specific beauty, but I do. I am so obsessed with you that I came to be with you, to show you how to live, and to die for you knowing that you may never love me back. No man will ever fill the void in your heart, because that hole was specifically made for Me to fill. Don’t seek to let men be enthralled by your beauty, let the One who made you be enthralled by your beauty, My creation. By allowing me to do this, you are glorifying Me. You are My precious treasure, you are worth so much more then the world values you. I want you to know: I see you, I know you, and you are so priceless to Me.
If you are struggling with seeing your value through God’s eyes, I would take a look at some of these verses below. If you would like to talk more about how to fully give your heart to the Lord, to truly live confidently in the way He made you, head to the contact section of my blog and send me a message or on my Instagram (arshaf6.) I would love to chat! I encourage you to have a conversation with God, asking Him to open your eyes to see yourself the way He sees you.

“Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. 1 Peter 3:3-5
